FGB with an impressive trade fair appearance
Just as in the previous years, FGB attended the Automotive Testing Expo as an exhibitor. At the trade fair on 24 – 26 June 2014 in Stuttgart, the company from Salz presented the expert audience a highly dynamic hexapod, extending the company’s series of test stands.
“Impressive”, “technically perfect” or simply “cool” – these were the comments of the numerous trade fair visitors admiring the hexapod at the stand of FGB. The machine presented by the company is a loan from the University of Paderborn as it was recently developed and constructed for them. In parallel, the test stand could be seen in full action in a video presentation. The highly dynamic servo-hydraulic hexapod can now also be used for testing of chassis components with considerably less effort than before under realistic application conditions.
The machine presented in Stuttgart was already the second high-complexity test stand developed by FGB for a university. This way, the company underlines its close cooperation with science which enables new findings in various fields of research.
The exhibit was surely again one of the most exciting items at this trade fair, which accounts for the excellent response and the considerable interest of visitors. This way, many new contacts could be established with new interested customers, along with the numerous technical discussions with existing customers.
The medium-sized company of the Steinbach Group was again able to impress the expert audience at the Automotive Testing Expo with its competence as innovative manufacturer of special-purpose machinery. Due to a constant flow of new, technically challenging tasks, the company offers attractive jobs for engineers and specialists and is currently extending its capacities in various fields.
