Great interest in Trainee Day 2023

On Saturday, June 24, 2023, the Steinbach Group opened its doors for the second time and in bright sunshine at the Salz/Strahlungen site for interested visitors and future trainees.

The FGB team consisting of trainees, training- and department managers presented the individual apprenticeships in mechanical engineering on the basis of products and developments. Among other things, detailed information was provided about the job profiles (m/f/d) cutting machine operator, industrial mechanic, technical product designer, electronics technician, mechatronics technician, IT specialist, industrial clerk and dual engineering training. The young audience was able to try out some applications themselves and win coveted prizes on the wheel of fortune.

Afterwards, visitors were able to strengthen themselves with cool drinks and sausages and also discover the job profiles in the field of building materials/construction/waste disposal or learn more about the company premises and the activities of the Steinbach Group as part of a quarry tour.

The group of companies has been training its own specialists in 17 apprenticeships for decades and is regularly awarded by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for its high-quality training. After the renewed positive response to the event, the date for the Trainee Day 2024 is already firmly on the calendar.
