Precision right from the start

FGB has once again invested in its state-of-the-art machinery at its location in Salz and expanded it at the beginning of June to include a high-performance external cylindrical grinding machine. The system is a processing machine from the Swiss manufacturer Studer of the type favoritCNC series 182. With its CAD/CAM interfaces, the system is optimally integrated into FGB’s digitally supported manufacturing process and thus complementing the company’s existing machinery perfectly.

In the future, the manufacturer of precision parts will use the machine primarily in the field of training and gradually introduce prospective specialists to the quality requirements with modern equipment. In order to inspire the young employees even more for precision, there will also be a workshop in Switzerland as part of the cooperation with Studer. Here, additional expertise in machine handling and quality is imparted in a practical and first-hand manner. By doing so FGB is intensifying its strategy of training highly qualified specialists in a targeted and effective manner and will be continuing to strengthen the broad basis of its excellent training.
