New 5-axis milling machine arrived

Following the commissioning of a high-performance external cylindrical grinding machine from Studer in June, a 5-axis milling machine (DMU 50) from DMG recently arrived. The CNC universal milling machine enables 5-axis machining at up to 20,000 rpm and, thanks to the integrated swivelling rotary table, simultaneous machining in all axes. The machine has been equipped with a large tool magazine to meet the requirements of job-order production in special-purpose machinery.

With this investment, FGB’s machine park for medium-sized machining parts has been properly expanded and is kept at a modern and efficient level. This will also ensure the high quality and precision of FGB’s job-order production in all manufacturing areas in the future. With its high-performance machinery, the company will continue to meet the requirements of its customers for complex machining parts.
