40 Years with FGB – Operations Manager Mr. Sitzmann Honored

Mr. Mario Sitzmann has now been employed by Fertigungsgerätebau A. Steinbach GmbH & Co. KG (FGB) for forty years. This milestone provided the perfect occasion for the company to congratulate and honor its Technical Operations Manager during a small celebratory event.

Mr. Sitzmann began his career with the company on September 1, 1985, as an apprentice industrial mechanic. Following several years of dedicated work as a skilled worker in various production departments and the successful completion of his qualification as an Industrial Master Metalworker—passed with distinction in 1997—he went on to assume positions of significant leadership responsibility at FGB. Over the years, Mr. Sitzmann has played a decisive role in shaping the company’s technical and organizational direction in his capacities as Operations Manager and Head of Quality Management.

The management particularly praised his exceptional loyalty and long-standing commitment to the company, his high level of technical expertise, his outstanding dedication, and his pragmatic approach to complex challenges. His contributions have been instrumental in the successful development of FGB, which today employs 170 people. The company has been operating successfully in the mechanical engineering sector since 1971 and has been part of the steinbach group ever since.
