The drawing is usually prepared after the part has been documented and measured. This is relatively easy, especially where there are still old but worn single parts that can be used as templates or samples. However, sometimes there are no old parts are available as samples, but there is a general idea of what the part needs to look like. Here, special attention must be paid to the installation situation in the part environment and especially the function of the part.
