Eroding
WIRE EROSION
We cut a wide variety of workpieces on our wire eroding system, and we also erode materials of various qualities and grades: from hard metal, copper, steel, graphite, brass and sinter alloys.
We can erode wire up to a maximum height of 300 mm on a path of 750 x 500 mm.
START HOLE DRILLING
Using the start hole eroding, we drill ‘start holes’ of 0.3 to 3 mm in a height of up to 250 mm. This method is highly suitable for hardened steels and all electrically conductive metals.
We also shoot start holes into previously finished workpieces or tools e.g. as very small and minute boreholes and filling and venting holes.
SINK EROSION
We erode 3D geometries from self-manufactured or supplied vertical eroding electrodes e.g. made of graphite or copper, on our vertical eroding system. We also work these very complex forms 1:1 into workpieces made of various materials for the construction of tools and special machines.
Workpiece sizes of 800 x 550 x 250 mm are possible on a travel path of 400 x 300 x 300 mm.
