Design / calculation of customer-specific actuators
The customer-specific drives are usually designed/calculated after the technical requirements from the application-related support have been clarified. The specification is transferred into the simulation program. Then a basic model (drive/generator) is created using a high-performance FEM simulation software/hardware. Also, numerous variants of the basic models are carried out followed by a calculation in various load points.
After the basic model and various variants have been identified, the optimum motor / generator is determined based on various load point calculations. The optimum direct drive is selected by analysing the simulation results and then the technical parameters of the motor are documented clearly.
