Prototype construction & repeat production
While developing customised direct drives, we always recommend building prototypes and carrying out extensive validation before transitioning into series production. Although our high-performance development tools have excellent forecast accuracy, the actual performance data of the new drive needs to be measured precisely and documented for subsequent comparison.
The construction of the prototype comprises the design, calculation, construction and production of motors to validate drive concepts and the production of corresponding inexpensive tools for creating the prototypes.
Usually there are also special interfaces for measuring and analysing the sample drives. We commission the motor for the first time on test fields at your own premises, and also gain insights for further optimisation. To this end, the prototype is measured based on its performance values. If the drive fulfils all technical parameters, the motor/generator is presented and accepted in cooperation with the customer. Then the validated drive concept can be sent for series production.
