Task and Process
The following shows a transport beam that generally serves to move heavy loads horizontally. The system basically comprises the beam, the trolley with a driven horizontal and vertical linear sliding unit, the cable carrier with guides, and the necessary electrics.
The horizontal linear unit that is mounted on roller bearings runs in a dual rail. In combination with the heavy-duty version of the construction, this ensures very precise guidance of the load. There are solid rail buffers, each with a shock absorber, at both ends of the beam.
The bogie as an interface can be equipped with various grippers, holders or other applications depending on the task at hand. In this way, the system can be configured either for pure transport tasks or also for a processing or testing application.
