Radial Intake Machine
Task and Process
Various variants of the clutch hoses with clutch lines are caulked on the system described here. To this end, the manually pre-joined clutch hoses are placed into the crimping station, and positioned and affixed. Then the operator closes the protective hood and the crimping process starts. To this end, the caulking jaws move to a defined position by means of a cam disc. After the end of the process, the system moves to the basic position and the part is removed manually.
One special feature of the system is the uncomplicated tool change: the caulking jaws are arranged in a cassette that can be removed in a few simple steps and can then be equipped with new tools.
