Servo-hydraulic Cylinders
Servo-hydraulic test cylinders are used to excite parts and complete test structures with static and dynamic test forces. To meet these requirements and achieve absolute duplication precision, the test cylinders are equipped as standard with hydro-static pocket bearings for the piston guide. These special bearings significantly improve the service life and the frequency behaviour. The hydrostatic bearing guarantees hysteresis-free operation in the rated load range.
The test cylinders have a number of convincing advantages:
- Almost frictionless positioning of the piston rod in hydrostatic pocket bearings
- High piston speeds
- Integrated position measuring system
The fatigue strength and the associated extremely long service life of the cylinder have a positive influence on the efficient use of those components.

- Peak forces ranging from 2 kN to 4MN, different forces on request
- Nominal stroke (without damping) from 20 to 1,000 mm
- Special strokes on request
- High piston speeds
- Continuous operating pressures up to 300 bar
