Multi-valve
We recommend our FGB multi-valve for additional test piece protection.
Multi-valves are mounted as additional hydraulic safety elements to servo-hydraulic test cylinders or servo-hydraulic rotary drives, and protect test devices and test pieces against overloads. Impermissible or undesirably high static and dynamic loads in the actuator chambers are avoided thanks to hydraulically settable pressure valves.
FGB multi-valve to realise the following functions:
- Settable differential pressure limit of the cylinder chambers (torque limit, settable 5-100 % of the rated torque) – sample protection
- Short-circuiting of both cylinder chambers when depressurized
- Shock-free compressed oil activation by means of delayed activation of the maximum differential pressure – low-shock start
- Fast depressurization of the cylinder chambers during shutdown and emergency shutdown
